My Favorite Oldies for Thursday Thirteen...

This my mother played over and over again. I know ever stanza by heart and can sing it to you verbatim...LOL

I listened to this song over and over and over again from the time I was twelve until fourteen. There is something so haunting about this song.

Oh, what memories these songs bring back to me *sigh*. Vincent is still one of my favorite songs (love the Josh Groban version); Brandy, Both Sides Now, Seventeen, all classics; Adore Puff (and many other Peter, Paul, and Mary songs -- I had the privilege of attending one of their concerts in person -- it was wonderful); Simon and Garfunkle are fabulous, as is their version of Scarborough Fair. I had 2 (or 3, I can never remember) cds of just Art Garfunkle -- his voice is just amazing. Thank you for bringing all these wonderful memories back for me.

Bonita and Joely! I'm so glad you enjoyed these. They are some of my fav's. And Puff always makes me cry too Joely. Loss of innocense is always heart wrenching it seems...
