I haven't been posting much this last week. I've been trying to do something useful--get organized.
I have to work on that. Really.
Let's see. What have I been up to. Hired a new sales person, talking to a writer and a photographer that will make my life so much better. Last night we had a Cinco De Mayo party that I went to. The rain kept a lot of people home. However had some new friends show up and that was nice.
My friend Gail, also my charity director came home from the hospital last night. I'm so glad she is doing better. The woman never stops. She amazes me.
And I have written. I know, don't fall out of your chairs, but since May 1st I have written a minimum of two pages per day. They are crap but then I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. For so long I wasn't sure I wanted to write anymore. I wasn't sure that my skill was good enough to do justice to the pictures in my head but you have to push those thoughts out of your head and move on.
I also have another new puppy. Last week I lost Nikki. God, I miss her. She was with me for sixteen years. That's a long time to walk in the door and be greeted, a long time to have a warm fuzzy body curled up beside you on the couch. I had her before I had my daughter and I've not taken it very well.
I'll post some pictures...I still miss her. Everyday. Every minute it seems.
